Barbell Genie collects nothing.

There is no account to make, no data to send, and nothing in the app capable of sending it. This page exists because the App Store requires one, not because there is much to disclose.

What the app stores

Two things, both on your iPhone and only on your iPhone:

• Your gyms — the names you type, the plates and their counts, and the barbells you set up.
• Whether you chose light mode, dark mode, or to follow your phone.

That is the complete list. The app does not ask for your name, your email, your location, your contacts, your photos, your health data, or your lifting history, because it does not need any of them to work out which plates go on a bar.

Where it goes

Nowhere. Barbell Genie contains no networking code at all — no servers, no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party software kits of any kind. Nothing is uploaded because the app has no means of uploading anything.

Backups

If you back your iPhone up to iCloud or to a computer, your gyms are included in that backup, the same as the files of any other app. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not this one.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and its data goes with it. There is no copy anywhere else for us to remove, and no request to send us, because we never had it.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, at any age. It is a calculator for barbell plates.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever starts handling information differently, this page will be rewritten before that version ships, and the date above will change with it.
